Sport Academies

Stallion Sporting Group presents the Stallion Rugby Elite Players Academy. The Academy is designed to assist players from Talented Junior to Professional Player.

The Academy runs yearly from October 1 to September 30.

Players receive skills sessions, strength and conditioning programs, speed and agility programs, goal setting sessions, game reviews, video highlights DVD, nutritional advice, training equipment and apparel, management advice and carrer pathway planning. Players are also supported via sponsorship from leading sporting brands Body Science and Blades Footwear.

Ethan is a Kiama born and bred Fullback. After staring for NSW Schools the 20 year old moved to Sydneys Randwick Rugby Club to further develop his career. One season in colts was all the club needed to see to fast track him through to the First Grade team alongside the likes of Kurtley beale and Drew Mitchell. With a huge presason behind him he was rewarded with selection in the Melbourne rebels two pre season Super Rugby trials against the Cheifs and Crusaders. With pace, power and skills to burn he is set for another cracker of a season in 2012.

Will Miller hails from the South Coast of New South Wales where attended Illawarra Grammar. In 2010 he made the move to The Scots College in Sydney where he enjoyed enormous success. In 2011 he was selected as an Australian Schoolboy, going on to win the highest Schoolboy award on offer with a man of the match performance in Australias victory over New Zealand. Capping off a remarkable final year at school he went on to claim bronze at the Junior Commonwealth Games in the Rugby Sevens before being called up to represent the Australian Mens 7s Team in the South African Leg of the IRB World series. He has chosen to join the Northern Suburbs Club for the 2012 season under former Wallaby Scott Fava. He has been selected in Norths first two Premiership games at openside flanker impressing all with his skill level, work ethic and toughness.

Randwicks Dan Fleming hails from renowned rugby nursery Waverly College. A tall athetic flyhalf he s looking emulate past students Ryan Cross, Adam Freier, Steven Hoiles and Morgan Turinui from schoolboy talent to the professional ranks. Dan is working hard at all skill aspects including his running, tackling and kicking games underpinned by an understanding of team tactics and gameplans. After Captaining Randwicks first grade colts to a final birth in 2011 he is set to make his mark amongst Randwicks Elite in 2012.

After a successful final year at St Ignatius Riverview Marc joined Randwicks colts system in 2009. A ball playing centre or flyhalf mark works hard at his ability to make and produce line breaks in attack and force turnovers in defence. After two highly productive years in Colts Marc switched allegiances to rivals Eastern Suburbs where he worked his way up to make his First Grade Debut in 2011. After an intense off season focusing on weight and skill gains he is set for a bumper 2012 season.

A strong running, ball playing back row forward James Ball has moved to the Northern Suburbs club for season 2012 to play under former Wallaby backrower Scott Fava. A St Josephs College product James enjoyed success with the Randwick Colts before making the club switch and is looking to make 2012 his best year yet.
